Traditional Speech Therapy vs Apheleia Speech
Traditional Speech Therapy – 2x per Week
$135 per hour / approx. $200 per week
Most Speech Therapy clinics charge around $135 per hour. That means two – 45 minute Speech Therapy appointments each week will cost you around $200 per week (not including gas or your time spent driving there). There might even be different or additional fees for assessments and report writing.
Apheleia Speech – 3x per Week
$125 per week. Period.
With Apheleia, we “see” you 3-times per week with our intensive program. We keep our pricing simple so you have certainty around your finances and can plan accordingly. We know Speech Therapy Services are not cheap, so we try to keep them as predictable and affordable as possible.
What’s Included in Apheleia Speech
If your child does not yet have an assessment, our first week together will be spent collecting information and doing an assessment on your child to figure out their challenges and how we approach tackling them together.
Weekly 30-minute Live Skype Video Call
We meet every week Face-to-Face using Skype. This time is used for whatever is necessary depending on progress or issues. It could be used for the initial assessment, subsequent progress assessments, speech therapy, parent coaching, Q&A or any combination of these.
Two Video Reviews (every week)
Making sure the at-home speech practice is being done correctly and effectively is crucial, so twice per week you will record a short video of your speech practice together and submit it to us. We’ll review it and provide any necessary feedback right away to make sure we’re going in the right direction.
Send your Speech Therapist a chat message any day, any time, and from anywhere. If you have questions, we want to make sure they get answered as quickly as possible.
Maintenance Program Pricing
As your child’s speech develops and needs change, so does our approach. A custom maintenance-type speech program and pricing will be discussed in the future to ensure you and your child still get the support and direction needed to continue to progress but at a more affordable price.
