Most Speech Therapy is around $135 per hour. That means a single 45 minute Speech Therapy session each week will cost you around $100 per week (not including gas or your time spent driving there). There might even be different or additional fees for assessments and report writing.

$125 per week. Period
With Apheleia, we “see” you 3-times per week with our intensive & personalized program. We keep our pricing simple so you have certainty around your finances and can plan accordingly. We know Speech Therapy Services are not cheap, so we try to keep it as predictable and affordable as possible.

What’s Included in Each Week

Assessment

If you or your loved one hasn’t been assessed yet, our first week together will be spent collecting information and doing an assessment to figure out the challenges and how we approach tackling them together.

Games & Materials
We provide game ideas, materials, work sheets, etc – everything that’s needed for you to carry over the Speech Therapy into your every day life at home.
1x 30-minute Live Video Call
We meet every week Face-to-Face using Zoom. This time is used for whatever is necessary depending on progress or issues. It could be used for the initial assessment, subsequent progress assessments, speech therapy, parent coaching, Q&A or any combination of these.
Unlimited Messaging
Send your Speech Therapist a chat message any day, any time, and from anywhere. If you have questions, we want to make sure they get answered as quickly as possible.
2x Video Reviews
Making sure the at-home speech practice is being done correctly and effectively is crucial. So twice per week you will record a short video of your speech practice together and submit it to us. We’ll review it and provide any necessary feedback right away to make sure we’re going in the right direction.
Maintenance Program Pricing

As speech develops and needs change, so does our approach.

A custom maintenance-type speech program and pricing will be discussed in the future to ensure you still get the support and direction needed to continue to progress but at a more affordable price.

Insurance

Private Speech Therapy Services are covered by many employers’ benefit plans and extended health insurance coverage, similar to massage therapy or physiotherapy.

We currently do not directly bill insurance companies but we’ll email you the invoice with the full details of the speech therapy costs for your reimbursement.
